Iceland Part 3
It Keeps Getting Better
I love Iceland. People ask me why and I can’t fully put my finger on the exact reasons. The waterfalls rule, the landscape is bizarre and amazing, the people are so chill (and tall), the hikes are life-changing, the hot springs are paradise. Still, I never do it justice. It’s funny, I’m such a diva about warm weather. My dream is to never see snow again. I live for the sunshine. And gloomy, windy, cold Iceland is my favorite place in the world. Don’t judge me, judge Judy, OK? I love it and I will never stop loving it.

I’m a diva for warm weather. So sue me. So when Caitlin and I found cheap hotels for Saint George, Utah for this weekend, we didn’t have to be convinced. And yes, I realize the entire post below is full of snow, but it was probably 15 degrees warmer than Lehi, even in Zion National Park, and thus was better than being in Lehi.

Iceland. New Zealand. Switzerland. Land. Iceland. Switzerland. New Zealand. Which is the most beautiful place on earth? I don’t know…but I know it ends in “land.” Seriously, Switzerland was insane and life-changing and I don’t even know what to write because I’ve run out of adjectives. Among the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, it’s basically a toss-up between New Zealand, Iceland, and Switzerland…but the chocolate and cheese in Swiss town makes it very enticing to vote #1.

Why Austria? Why not. We were so bloody close that I decided I was going, Caitlin or not, just for the passport stamp and to add country 28 to my list. And I’m super glad we did because it ruled!
Germany
Finally Putting My 9th Grade Education to Good Use
Germany is gorgeous. I knew it was (or so I’d heard/read), but it was even more gorgeous than I thought it would be. Just so green, and it was bright and sunny while we were there and everything was perfect. Driving was fun, not only because it was great driving as fast as I wanted (in some places, not all), but because we blasted good tunes and had the windows down and just enjoyed the amazing planet we call home. It ruled.
